Patricia Urquiola’s collection of future classics is extended

Now there are even more exciting designs from Patricia Urquiola’s Mangas (Spanish for sleeves) range! Her collection for Gan rugs is finally available in the UK through WovenGround. Each design is like an original patchwork piece, with unique combinations of different yarns, textures and colours.

The range now includes ‘Naturals’ – rugs in neutral beiges, greys, creams and browns;

‘Mini’ – smaller versions of all the original Mangas shapes;

‘Long Sleeves’ – an extra long version of the iconic design and the Mangas pouffes in three sizes.

Nani Marquina’s exclusive rugs are now available at WovenGround. Formosa takes its name from the 16^th century Portuguese name for the island of Taiwan.

 

The design combines Pop aesthetics with Taiwanese pictorial tradition. The type of knot used to make this rug makes it 40% denser than other hand knotted rugs which makes it a very high quality piece. Available in red or blue, in two sizes: 170x240cm and 200x300cm. 100% New Zealand wool. Price from: £3,029.
