Richard Contreras and Mark Findlay of Harvey Maria really know how to put the fun into flooring!
Waving goodbye to dull and boring interiors Harvey Maria have embraced pattern, colour and strong design to create cool contemporary floors.
Their vinyl floor tiles can be found in Hamleys, which has a custom-designed Harvey Maria floor incorporating brands such as Mr Potato Head, My Little Pony and Slinky on its ground floor, as well as bespoke floor tiles in Harrods pet department!
So, what would be their dream assignment be? Well, given the chance, Harvey Maria’s founder Mark Findlay would love to give Dolly Parton’s theme park in Tennessee a bit of a floor-over!

New York based award-winning textile designer and artist Judy Ross has collaborated with Artek to produce a limited edition line of Alvar Aalto’s iconic Stool. Upholstered in her signature hand embroidered chain-stitch fabric designs, these stools are beautiful enough to be a museum piece but are perfectly suited for everyday use.

Stationers Harris & Jones have collaborated with paper marbler Jemma Lewis to launch Botanicals, a fabulous new collection of hand-made stationery and storage boxes.
The carefully edited collection are all covered in Jemma’s unique marbling patterns and includes:

- Memo Block
- A5/A6 notebook
- Waste Paper Bin
All products are individually handmade in Harris & Jones’ Bedfordshire workshop, using traditional, time honoured skills combining cotton hinges, grosgrain ribbons, wooden frames and beautifully textured papers. Two colourways are available: Botanical blue & Botanical pink.

Just arrived at Keir Townsend’s Old Brompton Road showroom are these beautiful recycled glass surfaces. Available in several colours, they can be used to stunning effect in a variety of installations, including kitchen worktops, bathroom vanity units, shelving and splash backs. Because of the material’s translucent values, it can be lit up from underneath the surface to create an extraordinary display or feature.
Keir Townsend’s recycled glass surfaces are available in slabs and can be cut into custom size of up to 300mm x 1250 mm. They can also work closely with a client/interior designer to create a bespoke piece or installation.
